There were so many tasty bites, none were bad and hard to pick a favorite. Loved seeing the young people helping with the family business from serving and talking about the food. We had full happy bellies and enjoyed the people watching and talking with some of the pitmasters. We could only eat so much in the limited time we had. We hope to continue attending this as an annual event. Link

They didn’t just want to represent the full spectrum of styles in the samples included in the ticket price; Reid and Fulmer wanted to make sure everyone in their beloved city – both pitmasters and enthusiasts alike – were welcome at their event and had a good time. That means families, people of all different ages and backgrounds, and keeping prices low as much as possible. Plus, as Fulmer said, “you don’t need to take our your wallet, unless you’re buying a t-shirt or something to drink.” Link

One of the festival's unique features was the incorporation of BBQ flavors inspired by cuisines from around the world. From Korean bulgogi-style ribs to Jamaican jerk chicken, attendees had the opportunity to experience a global twist on traditional Texas barbecue. However, the classics were not forgotten, with smoky sweet ribs and tender brisket stealing the show with their irresistible flavors. Link
